The real way to get out of a traffic ticket is to ask for a jury trial. It is your right , but it costs the court more to take you to court than what your ticket is worth. So it usually doesn't go to court, it doesn't go on your record, and your insurance doesn't go up. The reason why is because you have to be convicted of a crime before any of that stuff will ever happen. If you pay the ticket you are pleading guilty, but if it never goes to court than it eventually just disappears since the criminal (in)justice system is so full. Have I tried this? Yes. Does it work? Yes. Do I speed? Prove it.
